Thomas Thiel

As a young man, Thomas worked with his dad and brother on a variety of projects which included vehicles, trailers and even houses, all of which sparked an interest in engineering. He graduated from University of Nevada, Reno with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. For the past 12 years he has been one of Dura-Bond’s Design Engineers and Tech Support Staff, he is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it. Thomas has worn many hats, from bearing design, to maintenance scheduling, CNC supervisor, to safety manager. He is most fond of being able to help customers both internal and external with technical issues. Aside from work, Thomas is a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. He has two dogs, Abby and Texas, and in his spare time, he can be found at the sand dunes with his dune buggy or in the mountains riding his dirt bike.
